Appointment Movies: 13 Hours – The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi

She Says: This is a no for me. I watch the trailer and all I can see is propaganda. Maybe that’s not fair. Considering Michael Bay is at the helm, this will be about as accurate as Armageddon. It saddens me. This was a true tragedy. Using the terror of that night like this upsets me.

He Says:  PASS!  No thanks, Michael Bay.  I don’t need your misplaced patriotism explained through giant American flags and explosions while using “facts” as a “backdrop”.  I don’t think this country needs it, either.  I have to wonder what the agenda behind making this movie even is.  Now, I have no doubt that there will be all kinds of people out there who will think that any movie Michael Bay makes about Benghazi is 100% the truth.  And I have to believe that there’s no way that’s going to happen. Ever.  So, personally, pass.  Strongly pass.

13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi opens in theaters on January 15th.
