If you haven’t seen the film this episode of Lux Radio Theatre is based on, you’re missing one of the better roles from Jimmy Stewart, and that’s saying a lot! He goes from “Aw, shucks ma’am.” to straight-up murder machine at the drop of a hat! Destry Rides Again is an iconic Western for several reasons but I think Marlene Dietrich is better replaced for radio by Joan Blondell. Enjoy!
